Long-life, Zeolite-impregnated wheel. How it Works. Moist air is sucked into the unit and blown over a rotating wheel impregnated with absorbent material. The moisture gers trapped on the wheel whilst the regenerated air is passed through the unit, back into the room as dry air.A simple heating element sets the water free from the rotating wheel and is collected in a water tank. As no refrigeration is used in the process, ice does not form, allowing the unit to operate in lower temperatures that stop normal refrigerant dehumidifiers.
