Its full-function electronic controls include a simple "on/off" button, a "fan" button for changing the fan speed to either high or low, helpful indicator lights, and a digital readout that shows the room's relative humidity. Press the "Cont" button for continuous dehumidifying at the lowest relative humidity (25 percent). To set a specific humidity level, use the up and down arrows; the dehumidifier provides a maximum setting of 80 percent and a minimum setting of 35 percent. The unit operates between 41 and 96 degrees F, and its washable filter removes both moisture and airborne particulates. When the water bucket reaches its 17-pint capacity, the unit will shut down and the "water full" indicator will illuminate.
