The MJ-E16 was designed with compact style in mind, while not compromising on efficiency. While most dehumidifiers available are large and bulky, Mitsubishi offers you the stylish, unobtrusive alternative. With some of the most advanced features available, the MJ-E16 is designed specifically for New Zealand conditions and would be suitable for any average sized one story home.Moisture removal is normally measured in litres removed per day, at a stated temperature (°C) and a relative humidity (RH) in %. The standard measure is litres per day at 30°C and 80% RH. Look for a dehumidifier that has a reasonably high moisture removal capacity (we recommend 16L per day +).Note that the higher the temperature in a home, the better the moisture removal capacity. At lower temperatures, it is essential to have a dehumidifier with good low temperature performance.Low temperature performance is an important consideration for most New Zealand dehumidifier users. Look for a product that has a Hot Gas Defrost System. This enables the dehumidifier to continue working down to very low temperatures (around freezing point). Some products available do not have this feature or require expensive heaters to engage at lower temperatures, resulting in heavy and expensive to run dehumidifiers.
